The final “Kyoto Protocol” tracks have been released.
Using several types of concept and data bending methods as well as a free interpretation of the posters by Pedro Monteiro, I am happy to announce that the series is now up available for free download.
Comprised of 5 files – as many as the posters designed – the “Kyoto Series” is an exercise between design and sound design: the designs of Pedro Monteiro [from the whatype project], that are an interpretaion of data released by the Kyoto Protocol on the public domain and interpreted into graphic design and then the databending and personal interpretation of those graphic images/files to turn them into music.
The result is here for free download. Enjoy it and don’t forget to check the original posters, that gave way to this release at the whatype blog.
